If you have ever lived somewhere with an HOA, you can understand how frustrating it can be. It is rare to actually live somewhere where the HOA is helpful and uses your fees wisely. We rarely hear or read about that, unfortunately… So like, why do they even still exist?? This case is one of the more ridiculous ones we've read because it's the HOA messing with a property owner who is not even part of the HOA. It's not enough to annoy their own community, they have to go for someone who isn't even a part of it! Like, grow up, HOA.

Gavel slams down in court against HOA fines, awarding property owner -
This property owner is happy to get that extra chunk of change due to the stupidity of this HOA, but he feels bad for the homeowners who are actually a part of this HOA. They are basically paying just for him to get paid. Their dues aren't going to new parks or fixing potholes or throwing block parties, nope. It's going to this property owner, who isn't even part of their HOA because their board members are missing the part of their brain that includes basic thought processes. Now, he's able to pay for a new fence, maybe a vacation, and who knows what! All because this HOA is greedy and trying to step on some turf they aren't even a part of. Again, why do HOAs even still exist if they don't ever know how to behave properly??
